Academic Editorial Committee

The Academic Editorial Committee consists of leading scholars of Egyptology. Its tasks are to establish and maintain the overall concept of the encyclopedia, select the area editors and authors, and provide them with clear directions to assure well-balanced and complete information on each subject. Selection criteria for authors and area editors are their academic record and standing, as well as their publication record on a specific sub-field or particular subject. The Academic Editorial Committee will guide the process of review and permission to publish.

Technology Committee

The Technology Committee consists of editors and technological staff of comparable on-line repositories, as well as staff members of the technological departments within UCLA that are involved. This committee gives advice on the programming developments of the project.

Members:

Faced with many of the same decisions regarding sustainability, search functions and work flow schedules, close cooperation with several existing digital projects is envisioned. Therefore, editors and technical experts from several initiatives are involved in the design and implementation of the UEE.
